Whole Pet is happy to announce a new member to our Medical Team: Alis Fogarty, DVM
Dr. Fogarty has been a friend of Whole Pet for several years and now we're warmly welcoming her as a member of the medical team.
Dr. Fogarty will be seeing patients 3 days per week including a surgery day. She's a methodical practitioner and has a caring personality that ensures patient health and comfort. She's an exceptional addition to your pets' health team!
“I believe you and your pet will be as pleased with your visit as I am to practice here. In addition to general medicine and wellness, I have a special interest in behavior, nutrition, and feline and geriatric medicine.
I received my Bachelor’s degree in Biology with an emphasis on Zoology from Cal Poly in 2000 and my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from OSU in 2010. I've practiced clinical medicine since 2011 and taught at the Veterinary Technology Program through Portland Community College in 2010.
When not practicing medicine, I spend time with my husband and three children, two kitties, two guinea pigs, one bunny, two parrots, and a red-eared slider. I also draw, read, and explore my adoptive home state.”

What is the best medicine?
Western medicine treats structural and metabolic disorders within the body by surgical and chemical means.
Eastern medicine encourages the body’s own mending abilities through the stimulation of nerves and by directing the flow of energy.
