Open House Overview:
We're opening our doors to the community to say thanks to our great clients and to show curious Salemites what our clinic is all about. There will be acupuncture demonstrations, live jazz music, “How Dogs Think” behavior presentation, refreshments, interactive clinic tour, and more.
So we hope you can come by, meet the staff, and see what we're all about.

Interactive tour:
Our entire facility will be open for this tour. This is a great tour for kids and adults, a behind-the-scenes look at how veterinary medicine works!
You'll get to view images on our Fovea Digital X-ray and Progeny Digital Dental X-ray, see our cutting edge in-house laboratory, check your own heart-rate and blood-oxygen saturation rate, see and smell medicinal herbs, and learn about the latest technology in Veterinary Medicine.
Acupuncture Demonstration:
Dr. DeMarco will being doing a real Chinese diagnosis and acupuncture treatment on one of our patients. For those unfamiliar with Eastern medicine, this event will be a great introduction to how it works. You'll also learn how Eastern medicine works along side contemporary Western medicine to render the best health results for patients.
How Dogs Think:
Well, if men are from Mars and Women from venus, then dogs must be from some Planet X in another galaxy. This presentation will be given by a Willamette Humane Society trainer as a primer about how to best understand your canine pet. Understanding your dog allows you to train him or her more effectively, leading to a happier relationship for Person & Dog. (this will be a discussion, no need to bring your companion) The Humane Society offers many continuing education opportunities for you and your pet to get the best out of life together.
